EasyPay Everywhere helps pay tribute to the amazing woman in our customers’ lives this Women’s Month

Women are at the heart of our Consumer business, making up over 70% of our EasyPay Everywhere customer base. They’re a significant and vital
part of the market and the communities we serve.

That’s why this August, we’ve launched our “Uhlanganisa Izinto!” campaign, which means “She makes things come together” – where EasyPay everywhere customers have a chance tell us about a special woman in their life who has “helped make things come together” for them, their family or their community. And they’ll stand a chance to take home some great prizes!

The campaign launched on 1st August and runs throughout Woman’s Month. Moms, sisters, gogos, teachers, aunties and community leaders everywhere are being honoured through mentions from our customers and followers on the EasyPay Everywhere Facebook page.

Throughout August, we shared these incredible interviews, highlighting the voices and journeys of these remarkable women.
Watch these powerful stories that celebrate the spirit of women in tech on our YouTube channel.

We’ve already been blown away by the touching tributes being shared on our Facebook page, with so many real, moving tributes to some
incredible women, it’ll be hard to select just 10 winners to take home the prize.

Here’s a glimpse at what some of our awesome customers have shared:

Tessa Red Tee: I’m paying tribute to my mother. She was not formally educated but incredibly strong. She struggled through so much in her own life but brought up 3 children and made us strong too. She’s taught us to be strong women with morals and principles. I have so much respect for her and know she was the steppingstone to get me to where I am today, and she’s made me the woman I am.

Cebolihle Nkambule: “I’d like to recognise my grandmother Elizabeth Kubheka - the granny who accompanied me to my first job interview and waited in the distance, the woman who wanted to make sure I was fully and mentally prepared, and okay. She’s been the best mom ever in my life, the only person who’s loved and cherished every moment of my life and she’s shown me the true strength of a mother's love. She is a woman who’s sacrificed so much in her own life to help better mine.”

Clarice Simone Coetzee: “I want to recognise Michela August, my big sister. Michela, I’m tagging you because you are the best! My sister is always there for us. She’s a God-fearing woman, hardworking, she sets high standards and is very respectful, always. She always has good advice and in all her advice, God is mentioned. When our mother passed away, she was and still is, the glue keeping our family together. Although we are all married and have our own families, Michela is the one who keeps us together by staying in touch every day. She calls us and keeps us united as sisters, along with my older sister Queen Dedee Hitzeroth. I just want to tell her I love her - I am so thankful for you and your life.
